I wanted to be magical from a very young age.
Maybe it was the reruns of Bewitched or my aunt’s “Sabrina The Teenage Witch” comic books. Or maybe it was just that instinctive knowing that we all have magic inside of us.
Some of it was typical kid stuff - pretending to be a mermaid when I went swimming or that the fireflies in my backyard were fairies. Some of it maybe wasn’t so typical; on windy days, I liked to act like I was controlling the weather.

As a teen, I became fascinated with fortune telling.

I devoured my horoscope in the daily newspaper and begged my mom for one of those scrolls in the supermarket checkout everytime we went shopping.
I desperately wanted to know the future. Would I end up happy? (So far so good!) I think it also allowed me to feel a sense of control. Like I had a superpower. Like my life wasn’t just some random series of events with no end goal or purpose.
Turns out, it wasn’t “just a phase.”

Instead of outgrowing these things, I went deeper, expanding into spellwork. Using candles, simple ingredients, and specific intentions, I was able to manifest a job I wanted and our first home. I even got married on Halloween, though I have to admit, that was more about venue availability than mystical planning.

When we had children a few years later, I used everyday magic for them, too. Protection spells, crystals to help prevent nightmares, enchantments for good health, sigils drawn in peanut butter sandwiches. Even adding intentions of gratitude into their clothes as I folded them.
All the while, my intuition grew stronger.

I went from naturally being able to tell when someone was not being completely honest with me to being able to know their backstory without them sharing a word.
This was my claircognizance kicking in. I also realized that I was an empath, which was a bit of a surprise. I’d never been a touchy-feely kind of person but discovered that was not so much a natural inclination as it was a form of self-protection against other people’s strong emotions and energy.

I even brought magic to the office with me.

In my professional life, I had a little ritual for the morning set up and again at the end of the day. I disliked other people sitting at my desk for too long because it disturbed the energy.

I kept crystals around my space to neutralize negative energy and to draw in success. Looking back, magic was simply a part of who I was, without my even trying.
I don’t predict futures — I help create them.

Today, as an intuitive guide, I blend my administrative background with spiritual insight to turn divine guidance into actionable steps, showing people how to make the mundane magical through simple rituals, spells, and intentions.

Whether I'm conducting tarot readings, leading workshops, or sharing simple magical practices, my mission remains the same: to help people uncover the extraordinary within the ordinary, one magical moment at a time.
Kind of like a spiritual big sister

The folks I work with already feel an intuitive pull towards the mystical. They just need some guidance and encouragement to follow it wherever it may lead.

I support them on their magical journey with advice, knowledge, and practicality. And yes, I'll also call them out if they need it (always with love, of course!).

We all have magic inside of us.

I want everyone to experience magic in their own lives because everyone has magic. After all, we're all made of stardust – some of us just need a little help remembering how to sparkle.
Meet the Artist Who Created Silas the Crow
Virginia Bright grew up on a farm in Brownsburg, Indiana surrounded by nature. With a background of nature as her palette, she looked at the world as ART. Her family hugely supported her artistic abilities, and, of course, are still huge supporters. She has pursued her art career since she was young, but officially took the step as a full-time artist in 2019.
Her works are vibrant and unique, setting her apart from the rest. Virginia has always been passionate about colors and patterns, seeing the world in a way only comes through an artist's eye. She has always been in awe of things that others don't take the time to really "see". She says, "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. That sentence right there gave ART such a definition to me, that I fell in love."
Along with her own artwork and teaching ART classes, Virginia also paints and decorates business store windows and chalkboards to help the business stand out. Holidays are always a fun time, and the windows all around town are painted beautifully with Virginia's artwork. Local to Sarasota, you will find many businesses and restaurants that feature Virginia's unique hand-lettering.
